Where a placement can go

A featured spot for your server on the pages players use to choose: the server population list, servers just wiped, and the regional and play-style lists, such as the EU and vanilla pages.
A banner on the home page or across the site.
A sponsored placement on the force wipe countdown, which players check before every force wipe.

Terms

Placements are sold per month, arranged by email, and are always marked as sponsored. Paying never changes the order of a list or the counts on it; rankings stay as the data found them.

Questions

Q.1Does paying change a server's place in the rankings?

No. Sponsored placements are marked as sponsored and sit in their own slot. The order of every ranked list, and the player counts shown on it, come from the data and are not affected by advertising.

Q.2How do I book a placement on Rust Population?

Email hello@rustpopulation.world with the server or product, the pages you are interested in and the dates. The reply sets out the options and current rates, and placements are sold per month.

Q.3Are sponsored placements labelled?

Yes. Anything paid for is marked as sponsored wherever it appears, including featured spots in lists and the sponsored slot on the force wipe countdown.
