Privacy notes
You can read the survey without an account, and we keep no profile of you. Below is what is recorded and what is not.
What you tell us
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no login and no form on the site asking for your details. If you email hello@rustpopulation.world, we see your address and what you write; that is the only personal information you hand over, and it stays in the mailbox.
Access logs
Our web server writes a standard access log for each request: IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser's user-agent string. We use these to keep the site up and to see which pages are read. They are held for a short period and then discarded.
Cloudflare
Requests reach us through Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site. Cloudflare sees visitors' IP addresses and may place its own security cookie when it checks whether a request comes from a bot. That cookie is Cloudflare's, not ours, and we do not read it. No Google services load here, and the fonts are served from this site.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, kept in local storage on your device. We run no analytics script and no advertising tracker. We do not follow you to other sites, build a profile, or sell or share visitor data, because we collect none to sell.
Server figures
The counts on this site come from what Rust servers publish publicly and answer to direct queries: names, addresses, player counts, wipe schedules, settings, descriptions and icons. They describe servers, not people. A player count is a total, never a list of who is online.
Changes
If this page changes, the date below changes with it. Written questions go to hello@rustpopulation.world.
