Two kinds of wipe matter. The monthly force wipe resets every public server at once, on the first Thursday. After that, each server keeps its own rhythm, and the week-by-hour grid below is built from wipes we counted, not from what owners advertise. Look along the rows for the days, down the columns for the hour, and you can see where the resets cluster.

Restarts are left out: a new map less than six hours after the last counts as the same wipe. Times are UTC: UK time is the same in winter and an hour ahead in summer; US East is five hours behind in winter and four in summer.

Questions

Q.1How often do Rust servers wipe?

Most public servers run a weekly cycle, some a biweekly one, and a smaller group only resets at the monthly force wipe. The split between those groups changes as owners change their settings, so we recount it rather than quote a fixed figure. The counts above show what the servers were actually set to when we last refreshed.

Q.2How do I know which servers have just wiped?

The just wiped list puts servers in order of how recently their map reset, so the freshest starts come first. If your own region matters more than the clock, sort that list by country before you pick. A fresh map fills quickly: check the live count on the server population list before you commit.

Q.3Do wipes always happen to the minute the server says?

No. Owners sometimes start a wipe early, run it late or skip one between force wipes, and a restart is not the same thing as a wipe. We record a wipe when the map resets, so a server that only restarts will look quiet on this page. Where a server's next wipe is unknown, we say so rather than give an estimated time.
