Rust tutorial servers

It switches on Facepunch's new-player tutorial: you start on a private island and learn gathering, crafting, building and cooking before joining the main map. Rates and rules on the server itself are unaffected. Once you land on the main map you play like anyone else.

The island gives you your first hour without being shot at, which helps with the controls. After that you share the map with everyone else, so look at the Group column and gather rates first if you want an easier run. Many large official servers keep the tutorial on, so you can see normal play early.

They follow the same wipe cycles as any Rust server: most monthly, some weekly or fortnightly. A map wipe does not always reset blueprints; that depends on the server's settings. Check the Next wipe column, or the wipe schedule calendar for what is coming.

Yes, once you leave the island you join the normal map and can group up. Check the Group column before you pick one, because some servers set a low team limit and you will not fit. Pick a server whose limit matches your group size.
