Build and creative servers

A sandbox where resources are free or spawned, crafting is instant and you often get noclip and god mode. Players use them to test base designs, check bunkers and work out material costs before a wipe. Almost all are modded, because the tools change the game.

Yes, nearly all of them do, either through a plugin or a starter kit. Building is instant, and many also let you fly. That makes them useful for planning, but not for practising survival.

Many reset every few hours, which clears anything you have built. Others keep the same map until the owner wipes it or the monthly force wipe arrives. The Last wipe and Next wipe columns on each row tell you which pattern a server follows.

Because free resources, instant building and noclip are changes to vanilla Rust, and Facepunch requires servers with those changes to declare themselves modded. A build server in the modded category is not a cheat server; it is simply the correct label for the tools it gives you.
